    Washing Hands

Psalm 51:1-2  Have mercy on me, O God, according to your unfailing love; according to your great compassion blot out my transgressions. Wash away all my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin.

December.  Most of us are filled with joyous anticipation of the celebration of our Savior’s birth.  It is a time of special church services, fun activities and happy get-togethers with friends and family.

Who of us wants to worry about eating healthy, exercising or getting adequate rest during such a busy, exciting season?  Not me. And, I would suspect, not you.  But if we don’t apply some precautions, we could end up missing the celebrations because we are laid up in bed with various medical ailments.

So, do some monitoring of what you eat, park at the end of the parking lot to allow for more exercise,  keep your normal sleep pattern, and try to avoid being around individuals who have colds or the flu .  Oh, and WASH YOUR HANDS:

    1. Wash your hands when they are dirty and BEFORE eating
    2. DO NOT cough into your hands
    3. DO NOT sneeze into your hands
    4. DO NOT put your fingers into your eyes, nose or mouth
    5. Use hand sanitizer when soap and water are not available
Praying you all have a healthy and joyous Christmas, celebrating God’s great gift of salvation  for us  through His Son, Jesus the Christ.

John 3:16  For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

    Blessings,
    Deaconess Sharon
